Job summary

Molex seeks a detail-oriented Test Lab Technician to support laboratory operations across engineering, research, quality, and process development. You will perform hands-on testing, maintain equipment, document results, and support experiments to ensure safety, accuracy, and on-schedule execution.

The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment and attention to safety, quality, and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1+ year hands-on laboratory, manufacturing, or field testing experience.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical instrumentation, data acquisition systems, or materials testing preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and SOPs.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, operate, calibrate, and maintain lab equipment and test rigs.
• Execute routine and non-routine laboratory tests per protocols and instructions.
• Record observations and test data; prepare clear reports and summaries.
• Assist engineers with prototype assembly, wiring, sampling, and troubleshooting during testing.
• Maintain inventory and calibration/maintenance documentation; coordinate vendor services.
