Job summary

Molex is seeking a hands-on technician to support electrical testing for prototype development and production readiness. You will work with engineering teams to run verifications, build and maintain test fixtures, and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates have 6 months to 3 years in electrical testing, basic soldering skills, and the ability to read drawings and BOMs. This role emphasizes documentation and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with related technical education preferred.
• 6 months to 3 years in electrical testing, prototyping, or production support.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, BOMs, and maintenance docs.
• Basic soldering and use of common hand tools and test instruments.
• Clear documentation of procedures and test results.

Responsibilities

• Execute product verification and validation with hands-on testing and data reporting.
• Design, fabricate, assemble, and maintain test fixtures and prototypes.
• Troubleshoot shop-floor issues and suggest design/manufacturing improvements.
• Program, calibrate, and maintain test equipment and prevent maintenance.
• Create clear technical documentation for procedures, results, and changes.
