  • Demonstrated experience leading advanced testing, evaluation, validation, or systems engineering initiatives.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical leadership capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

As a Test & Evaluation Engineer, you will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing testing capabilities, improving evaluation methodologies, and developing innovative solutions that support critical aerospace programs. What You'll Do

As a Key Engineering Leader, You Will

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced test methods, procedures, and evaluation processes.
  • Apply emerging technologies to enhance and optimize testing capabilities.
  • Develop innovative test solutions and metrology design techniques to support product development and validation.
  • Create and improve testing methodologies that increase efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Prepare research and development (R&D) proposals and present recommendations to internal leadership and external stakeholders.
  • Write invention disclosures to protect intellectual property and support innovation initiatives.
  • Review critical test procedures, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
  • Oversee the integration of new design and manufacturing technologies into test systems and hardware.
  • Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements that drive operational excellence.
  • Establish standards and policies for post-test activities and evaluation processes.
  • Resolve complex testing challenges and oversee special test procedures.
  • Collaborate with enterprise engineering and testing teams to standardize evaluation practices across programs.
  • Define expectations for test data on new, complex, or unique testing efforts.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and coaching to engineers and team members.
  • Work independently under consultative direction while influencing strategic engineering decisions.
Required Qualifications

  • Experience developing innovative test methodologies and evaluation processes.
  • Aerospace, aviation, defense, or highly regulated industry experience.
  • Knowledge of advanced metrology, test system design, and manufacturing integration.
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical proposals and research initiatives.
  • Proven success driving process improvements and implementing emerging technologies.
  • Intellectual property development or invention disclosure experience.
  • Strong mentoring, coaching, and technical leadership abilities.
  • Experience working across cross-functional engineering organizations.

Pay Details

$109.36 per hour
