Job summary

Boeing Future of Flight is seeking a contract Electrical Engineer to assist in test method development, instrumentation configuration, and design reviews in the Seattle area. You will document solutions, develop test plans, and present technical design reviews while coordinating with stakeholders.

Required: a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and 2 years of electrical design experience, with familiarity in LabVIEW and drafting tools such as MS Visio and Zuken.

Qualifications

• 2 years electrical design experience.
• Knowledge with common drafting tools: MS Visio, Zuken.
• Knowledge of instrumentation sensors, and data acquisition system.

Job description

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Assists in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methods. Develops simple test procedures, and instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform the test and minimize risk. Designs component and sub-assembly level hardware or software and uses analytical tools to verify the design. Assists in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of test hardware. Identifies solutions to basic problems and supports the development of metrology processes, methods, and tools. Supports development of test debrief material. Participates in evaluation of test performance data. Reviews test data for accuracy, quality and/or fidelity prior to delivery to customer. Alerts senior engineers of off-nominal data. Prepares test reports for review. Works under general supervision.
