Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Test Equipment Technician II to support engineering and lab operations in a manufacturing environment. You will build, modify, and troubleshoot test equipment and product test setups, ensuring accurate data collection and adherence to industry standards.

Under limited supervision, you will interpret engineering drawings to assemble test systems and assist product validation efforts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree/technical certification preferred.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, specs.
• Strong troubleshooting and data collection skills for test setups.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, modify, and maintain test equipment and prototypes.
• Set up tests, collect data, and ensure accuracy and safety.
• Interpret engineering drawings and ensure compliance with standards (ANSI/ASHRAE/IEC).
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on lab equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organized lab environment and proper documentation.
