Job description

ENSCO is seeking a Test Equipment Engineer to design, integrate, and document test equipment and associated Test Program Sets for avionics systems. The engineer will develop test stand designs to simulate avionic control system boxes and create Test Program Sets for adapting various units to the test stand. Responsibilities also include system‑level electrical design, schematic design, integration, debugging, and documentation of manuals, procedures, and test flow diagrams.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 3+ years related experience
• Test stand or similar system‑level electrical design experience
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience in schematic design using a qualified tool such as Eagle, Mentor Graphics, or similar
• Experience in integration and debugging of hardware
• Strong documentation skills for manuals and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills for team environments
• Excellent verbal communication skills – able to communicate effectively in teleconferences with suppliers, clients, and colleagues
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizen)

Qualifications Desired

• PWB/Schematic capture experience using Eagle, Mentor Graphics, or similar toolset
• Mechanical design experience using Fusion or CREO
• Experience with NI Test Stand software
