Job summary

HyAxiom, the hydrogen energy arm of Doosan Group, is seeking a test and development engineer for PAFC/PEM test stands at our South Windsor, CT facility. You will troubleshoot test stands, generate requirements, manage outsourced work, and support hardware/software upgrades with LabVIEW expertise.

The role spans concept to production, including hardware selection, test-rig development, root-cause analysis, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 2-5+ years of experience
• MS degree with 0-2+ years of experience
• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or related degree
• Knowledge of technical componentry, instrumentation, and process engineering
• Ability to develop and maintain effective supplier relationships
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with LabVIEW is a strong plus

Responsibilities

• Focus hardware selection and test rig development
• Collaborate with LabVIEW expert to implement hardware changes
• Root cause analysis and update work documentation
• Identify patterns in conflicting information and resolve
• Generate component specifications from requirement documents
• Share specs with suppliers to identify COTS options
• Ensure new components are validated before production release
