HyAxiom, a Doosan Group hydrogen energy company, seeks an engineer to lead test stand troubleshooting and development for PAFC and PEM projects at its South Windsor, CT facility. You will collaborate with LabVIEW experts, generate specs, and ensure robust validation before production.

Qualifications

BS degree with 2-5+ years of experience.
MS degree with 0-2+ years of experience.
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of technical componentry, instrumentation, and process engineering.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
Proficient with computers; LabVIEW knowledge is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Focus technical skills on hardware selection, component modeling, building test rigs, running performance tests, and troubleshooting.
Work with onsite LabVIEW expert to implement hardware changes into test stand software.
Perform root cause analysis and maintain up-to-date work documentation.
Proactively identify patterns in conflicting information and resolve.
With guidance, generate component specifications from requirement documents and review prior to pursuit.
Share component specifications with potential suppliers to identify suitable COTS components or develop parts.
Ensure new componentry is validated and documented prior to production release.
