Job summary

HyAxiom, the hydrogen energy division of Doosan Group, seeks a Site Design Engineer in South Windsor, CT to design and optimize site layouts for fuel cell systems, collaborating with customers and EPC partners to meet energy, safety, and cost objectives.

You will apply construction standards, CAD tools, and modular construction methods to ensure code compliance and efficient installation, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience designing site layouts for complex energy systems.
• Proficient in CAD software and creating construction drawings.
• Strong customer-facing skills and ability to collaborate with EPC firms and clients.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize site layouts for fuel cell systems for new customers.
• Collaborate with customers and EPC firms to meet requirements and reduce costs.
• Ensure layouts comply with NFPA, OSHA, IEC and local codes and permitting.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate with electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
• Prepare clear documentation for layouts, permitting, and construction plans.
