Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Test Equipment Deployment Technician for the Buffalo/East Aurora area. You will deploy, assemble and install test equipment per engineering drawings, working onsite in a first shift schedule.

Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge, plus ability to read schematics, is required. Applicants should have at least 5 years in a related technical field, good English literacy, and be prepared for hands-on fabrication or modification using mills or welders as a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or demonstrated ability to follow English instructions
• Minimum 5 years in a related technical field
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Onsite availability in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY

Responsibilities

• Deploy test equipment for use by Moog customers and internal teams worldwide
• Assemble, modify and install test equipment per drawings and blueprints
• Utilize hydraulic/flanging/bending tools and general hand tools
• Maintain specification accuracy using torque wrenches, fixtures, and gauges
• Interface with design/deployment engineering during development phases
• Follow Health & Safety practices and complete risk assessments
• Support continuous improvement of deployment processes and tools
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other computer skills
• Fabricate/modify parts using Mills or welders (a plus)
