Job summary

Moog Inc in Buffalo, NY seeks a Test Equipment Deployment Technician to join the Military Aircraft Group and be onsite in the first shift. You will report to the Head of the Test Equipment Section and deploy/test equipment for Moog facilities and external customers worldwide.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (preferable) or demonstrated English literacy and arithmetic ability, plus at least 5 years in a related technical field.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise ability to understand and apply verbal, written and computer work instructions in English and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 5 years experience in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Support successful deployment of test equipment for use by customers within Moog facilities and external customers across the globe.
• Assemble, modify and install test equipment using engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Utilize hydraulic tooling and maintain specification accuracy on assemblies.
• Interface with Design and Deployment engineering during development phases to provide support.
• Follow Health & Safety practices and contribute to risk assessments.
• Assist in continuous improvement of deployment processes and tools.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
• Experience fabricating/modifying parts using mills or welders is a plus.
