Job summary

Moog Inc. in East Aurora, NY, is seeking a Test Equipment Deployment Technician to support the deployment and installation of test equipment for Moog facilities and external customers worldwide.

Responsibilities include assembling and modifying equipment from detailed drawings, using hydraulic line work, mills and welders as needed, and ensuring safety and quality in every build. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in a related technical field and strong English comprehension.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred with ability to understand and apply English instructions.
• At least 5 years experience in a related technical field.
• Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and use hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of test equipment for Moog facilities and external customers.
• Assemble, modify and install test equipment from drawings including electrical/hydraulic lines.
• Utilize hydraulic forming and bending equipment and hand tools.
• Maintain specification accuracy on assemblies with torque wrenches and gauges.
• Interface with Design and Deployment engineering during development phases.
• Follow Health & Safety practices and assist with risk assessments.
• Contribute to process improvements in deployment procedures and tools.
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer skills.
• Experience with milling or welding is a plus.
