Job summary

H3X Technologies is hiring a Power Electronics Intern to design, test, and validate breakthrough power electronic systems for next‑generation propulsion. You’ll work with experienced engineers on high‑voltage hardware and gain hands‑on experience with the manufacturing processes that move ideas from concept to production.

We are looking for a full‑time Spring Intern, with opportunities for Summer 2027 and extended Co‑Op positions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or closely related field.
• Strong electronics fundamentals and project-based electronics experiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Experience or interest in high‑voltage systems, power electronics, electric motors.
• Curious and motivated by first principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, simulation, and testing of power electronic hardware.
• Develop and validate PCB assemblies and wire harnesses with engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Conduct simulations and performance analyses using MATLAB, LTspice, Simulink.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and document corrective actions.
• Assist with test setup, measurement, and evaluation of prototypes and production units.
• Contribute to technical documentation and manufacturing instructions for PCB and wire harness assemblies.
• Stay updated on latest trends and advancements in power electronics.
