Job summary

Saxon Global is seeking a Test Engineer with a focus on vehicle testing for a 12-month contract. Title: Test Engineer (Vehicle Testing Focus)

1. Two Openings – Test Engineer (Vehicle Testing Focus):

• AV testing background, ideally at L2–L4 level
• Strong system software experience (C/C++)
• Experience with C++ code integration and build creation
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or Computer Engineering
• Prior experience with an automotive Tier-1 supplier or OEM

One Opening – Triage Engineer (Software Focus):

• Software triage experience in ADAS/AV systems
• Deep knowledge of AV/ADAS features
• Degree in related engineering field
• Looking for candidates with experience at companies like Aurora, Cruise, Waymo, or Tier-1/OEM suppliers
• Please avoid candidates with primarily embedded, electrical, or protocol-heavy backgrounds (e.g., CAN, USB, ASPICE)

The role involves supporting testing, validation, and issue triaging of cutting-edge autonomous driving systems. Responsibilities include:

• Executing AV/ADAS software tests and capturing results
• Developing test procedures and documenting outcomes
• In-vehicle testing and collaboration with operations teams
• Issue tracking and reporting using JIRA
• Assisting with software code integration and maintaining product health

• Hands-on testing experience in automotive or robotic systems
• Experience creating and executing structured test plans
• Strong technical aptitude and quick learning ability
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
