Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Senior Test Engineer/QA to lead automated testing initiatives and ensure software quality across complex systems. The role expects extensive experience in test automation, performance testing, and secure software development within a regulated environment.

The candidate will design and implement automated testing frameworks, drive CI/CD integration, and supervise defect resolution while ensuring compliance with security testing practices and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software testing and QA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Expert knowledge of test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong programming skills for test development (Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
• Knowledge of test-driven development and behavior-driven development.
• Experience testing containerized applications and microservices.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• Experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; Must be U.S. citizen.

The Senior Test Engineer/Quality Assurance professional leads testing strategy implementation and ensures software quality through comprehensive test automation and quality assurance practices. This position develops and maintains automated test frameworks, conducts system performance testing, and ensures all software meets the Definition of Done criteria before deployment.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000–$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
