Job summary

Nightwing Intelligence Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems for mission-critical operations. The role applies SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, high-performance applications.

You will mentor junior developers, drive DevSecOps automation, and guide architecture decisions across distributed microservices, containers, and orchestration while ensuring strict security and compliance

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Expert-level proficiency in Python, Java, Go, etc.
• Deep understanding of microservices, containerization, and orchestration.
• Extensive experience with DevSecOps practices and toolchains.
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural principles.
• Experience with distributed systems and message queuing (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ).
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical implementations.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area.

This position applies advanced software engineering principles and SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The Senior Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams, mentors junior developers, and ensures software solutions meet stringent technical, functional, and security requirements.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($99,000-$206,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
