Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Senior Test Engineer/QA to lead automated testing across unit, integration, and end-to-end scopes. You will design frameworks, implement performance and security testing, and drive test automation within CI/CD. The role requires strong coding skills (Python/Java) and deep knowledge of test tooling.

Requires TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship. Location options include NCR or San Antonio, with a seniority level reflecting 10+ years in software testing and QA.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of test automation frameworks (Robot Framework, Selenium, etc.).
• Strong programming skills for test development (Python, Java, etc.).
• Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, etc.).
• Knowledge of test-driven development and behavior-driven development.
• Experience testing containerized applications and microservices.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps.
• Experience with security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA).
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

This position develops and maintains automated test frameworks, conducts system performance testing, and ensures all software meets the Definition of Done criteria before deployment.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($77,000–$163,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
