Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy complex software systems for mission-critical offensive cyber operations. You will apply SAFe Agile methodologies to deliver scalable, secure applications within cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include feature development, automated testing, code reviews, and DevSecOps pipeline support. Candidates must have TS/SCI with CI Polygraph, be a U.S. citizen, and be located in the NCR or San Antonio area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent substitution).
• Proficiency in one or more languages: Python, Java, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Git version control and collaborative development.
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must be located in NCR or San Antonio area.

Salary & Benefits

The salary associated with this position ($64,000-$128,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
