Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join the team in Tucson. You will work with design and production to develop comprehensive ATE test plans for mixed-signal devices, debug silicon on ATE, and optimize test time while ensuring high yields.

The role requires a background in electrical engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Teradyne Eagle based systems. You will contribute to robust, cost-effective test solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle 364 or equivalent.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT, EXA).
• Characterization and production test program development experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices, circuits, and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis using Spotfire or equivalent STDF-based tool.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, sourcemeters).
• Experience with yield improvement and test-time reduction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design team to understand specifications and generate test plans.
• Create tests, characterizations, and ATE interface boards.
• Debug silicon on ATE and correlate with bench data.
• Analyze silicon results and support failure analysis.
• Statistical analysis of yield fallout and drive reductions in test time.
• Release products to volume production with robust test strategies.
• Develop test strategies for mixed-signal TI roadmap products.
• Oversee test hardware/software and qualification hardware development.
