Job summary

Texas Instruments Incorporated in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced test engineer to join our team developing and optimizing ATE-based test solutions for high-speed mixed-signal ICs. You will collaborate with design and production to translate specifications into test plans, hardware interfaces, and robust characterization workflows.

The ideal candidate has hands-on ATE experience (Teradyne Eagle, Advantest Exascale or equivalent), strong data analysis skills, and a solid understanding of IC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3 years of relevant experience.
• ATE experience on Teradyne Eagle, Advantest Exascale, or equivalent analog ATE (iFlex, LTX, VLCT).
• Characterization test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic devices and analog test techniques.
• Data analysis skills using Spotfire, DataPower or equivalent tool based on STDF.
• Experience with lab equipment such as scopes, power supplies, source meters, loads.
• Experience with yield improvement and test time reduction.
• Strong understanding of the IC product development process, from concept to volume production.

Responsibilities

• Work with design team to understand design specifications.
• Generate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boards.
• Debug and characterize silicon on ATE, correlate results with bench data.
• Analyze silicon results, supporting failure analysis tasks.
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout; debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
• Work with production team to release products to volume production.
• Define and implement test strategy for new products.
• Develop ATE hardware and software.
• Support silicon qualification & characterization including qual hardware development.
• Perform comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis.
• Drive for robust and cost-effective test solutions while being accountable for product quality.
