Job summary

Texas Instruments is seeking a Test Engineer to drive testing of complex mixed-signal devices in a high-growth market. You will collaborate with design and production teams, develop tests and ATE interfaces, and help reduce test time while improving yield.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in test engineering, experience with ETS364/ETS800, and strong knowledge of analog test techniques. This on-site role is based in Phoenix, AZ, with opportunities to impact product quality and manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant Test Engineering experience.
• ATE development experience on ETS364 and ETS800.
• Characterization test program and hardware development experience.
• Production test program and hardware development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Analog test techniques and IC devices.

Responsibilities

• Work with design team to understand design specifications.
• Generate test plan, create test and char program, design ATE hardware interface boards.
• Debug characterizing silicon on ATE, correlate results with bench data.
• Analyze silicon results, supporting failure analysis tasks.
• Perform statistical analysis of yield fallout, debug and fix yield issues; optimize test time.
• Work with production team to release products to volume production.
• Test strategy definition and implementation for new DCDC converter products.
• ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) test hardware and software.
• Silicon qualification& characterization including qual hardware development.
• Comprehensive device debugging, design validation and failure analysis.
