Job summary

RiseMe in Middletown, RI is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team responsible for the test, evaluation, and design verification of the system under development. You will develop, modify, and execute test plans, procedures, and reports, with some travel and overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate has Navy submarine combat/training system familiarity (AN/BYG-1 preferred), DoD Secret clearance, a bachelor's in engineering or related field, and 2–4 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in software testing, systems testing, test engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with Navy submarine combat/training systems or similar environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Basic Linux command-line knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements to develop validation methods through testing and verification activities.
• Develop, modify, and maintain test procedures based on requirements and technical docs.
• Develop and analyze test cases and execute test activities for system verification and validation.
• Conduct verification testing of changes to confirm issues resolved and requirements met.
• Document test results and contribute to test reports and technical docs.
