Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Test Engineer III for Navy submarine systems in Manassas, VA. This full-time, on-site role requires a DoD Secret Clearance and offers a comprehensive benefits package, relocation support, and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical discipline with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with a minimum of 3 years.
• Significant experience with AN/BYG-1 combat systems or similar Navy submarine combat systems is preferred.
• Strong test engineering background and ability to plan, execute, analyze, and document testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements and develop methods for validating requirements through testing.
• Develop, modify, and maintain comprehensive test procedures.
• Conduct verification and validation activities to confirm changes satisfy requirements.
• Plan and execute informal and formal test events.
• Identify, analyze, and document defects and collaborate with engineering to resolve issues.
• Configure and support test laboratories in accordance with documentation.
• Communicate test status, issues, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Develop and analyze test cases and communicate findings throughout the lifecycle.
