Job summary

Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove in Madison, WI is seeking a test engineer for our on-site Manufacturing campus. You will join the operational excellence team on production floor, supporting test failure analysis and process improvements in equipment hardware and software.

Candidates have a BS in engineering and 4+ years in manufacturing, with experience in control or test systems, electrical circuits, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering.
• 4+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with control systems or functional test systems.
• Electrical circuits and system knowledge.
• Good facilitation and communication skills.
• The ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report test equipment performance for the assigned Business Unit.
• Train assembly and technical staff on troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Implement hardware/software changes to improve efficiency or design evolution.
• Review test coverage to ensure product quality requirements.
• Participate in BU meetings, problem solving, line support, and updates.
• Develop and refine calibration checks and maintenance procedures for test gear.
