Job summary

Smith & Wesson is seeking a Full-time Technician to support prototype manufacturing and testing in Springfield, MA. You will work closely with engineers and the technician team, assisting with shooting activities and data collection while maintaining strict safety standards on the manufacturing floor.

Qualified candidates have an associate degree or related certificate, or at least 2 years of equivalent experience, with strong technical writing, instrumentation, and machining exposure.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical certificate or 2+ years experience preferred.
• Background in technical writing helpful.
• Experience with instrumentation and sensors preferred.
• Machining experience or machine shop exposure is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with user groups.
• Demonstrated proficiency with firearms and safe handling.
