Job summary

Dell Technologies in Franklin, MA is seeking a Test Engineer to help test, evaluate and validate our devices. You will develop test plans and tools, and work with a dedicated test team to ensure functionality and compatibility across products.

You will document test results, report findings to development engineers and leadership, and collaborate with external validation partners to achieve comprehensive test coverage for multiple test organizations.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Understanding of server hardware and software system architecture and their interactions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of computer network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.
Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Responsibilities

Develop and document test plans for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products.
Partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership.
Work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations.
Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed.
Mentor and share best practices with test technicians.
