Job summary

Dell Technologies in Franklin, MA is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans for hardware and solutions products, collaborating with the test team and reporting results to development engineers and leadership.

You will partner with validation partners to create comprehensive test plans and coverage across multiple test organizations, document progress, and support test automation initiatives while mentoring technicians in the lab.

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent in electronics, computer science or related field.
Understanding of server hardware and software system architecture and their interactions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of computer network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.

Responsibilities

Develop and document test plans for hardware and solutions products.
Partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership.
Collaborate with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and coverage.
Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed.
Mentor and share best practices with test technicians.
