Job summary

Dell Technologies in Franklin, MA is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team. You will help develop and execute test plans for new and existing hardware, collaborating with a test team and external partners to ensure robust validation.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Understanding of server hardware and software system architecture and their interactions.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of computer network fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.
Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Responsibilities

Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed
Assist in collecting test requirements and creating basic test plans and test cases
Follow risk management plans and execute test automation scripts
Document test execution progress and issues
Mentor and share best practices with test technicians
