Job summary

Dell Technologies is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Manufacturing Engineering team in Franklin, MA. You will develop and document test plans for hardware and solutions, partner with the test team during execution, and report results to engineering leadership.

You will also work with external validation partners to extend test coverage, follow risk management, and mentor technicians while supporting weekend testing as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Understanding of server hardware and software architecture and their interactions.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document test plans for hardware and solutions products.
• Partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership.
• Collaborate with external validation partners to extend test coverage across multiple test organizations.
• Provide test engineering support for manufacturing test processes, including weekends as needed.
• Mentor and share best practices with test technicians.
