Job summary

Zentech Manufacturing is seeking a test engineer to support motherboard/upper-level assemblies, interfacing with PCI Express, SATA, USB, Ethernet, and others. You will set up test equipment, analyze results, and recommend improvements to testing procedures to streamline production.

Ideal candidates have strong high-speed digital skills, hands-on experience with oscilloscopes and protocol analyzers, and a background in electronics testing.

Qualifications

• BS or Associate’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; five years’ related experience.
• Experience with high-speed digital design and debugging is required.
• Knowledge of test equipment calibration and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional tests of production electronic systems and assemblies.
• Test complex mil-spec electronic assemblies with prototype docs.
• Record data and compare against specifications.
• Analyze defective units to determine root cause.
• Develop test processes, tooling, and fixtures as needed.
