Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a Test and Validation Engineer to design test systems and verify high-speed cable assemblies for data centers and wireless infrastructure. You will lead electrical validation from analysis to production testing, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to deliver robust designs.

The role requires 5+ years in high-speed test engineering, experience with DAC/twin-ax cables, DSO, VNA, BER testers, TDR, pattern generators, and strong Python skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years in high-speed test engineering.
• Experience with high-speed cable assemblies (DAC, twin-ax).
• Experience with high-speed test equipment: DSO, VNA, BER tester, TDR, pattern generators, power supplies.
• Strong experience with Python.
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a global, cross-functional team.

Responsibilities

• Lead test system design and verification testing for high-speed products.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and operations teams.
• Validate product electrically from analysis to production testing.
• Develop test fixtures and software for manufacturing deployment.
• Make data-driven recommendations based on test results.
