Job summary

Fortress Power is seeking a Test Engineer for Equipment & Cloud QA in Langhorne, PA to own quality control across hardware and cloud platforms. You will write and execute test cases, track defects in Jira, and validate firmware, hardware, and software across the full product lineup. You will collaborate with U.S.

and China teams, using Mandarin to unify test procedures and drive defects to closure. A hands-on, autonomous role requiring ownership of the quality story for a growing energy storage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese for defect discussions with overseas teams.
• 2+ years in product testing, QA, or hardware/firmware/software validation.
• Hands-on experience authoring and running test cases, documenting defects, and tracking them to resolution in Jira.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work on-site in Langhorne, PA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test cases for residential and C&I batteries, inverters, gateways, and firmware.
• Edge and negative testing to surface defects before customers.
• Regression testing after firmware/software changes to ensure fixes.
• Bench and lab validation of hardware and firmware builds.
• Analyze logs/telemetry to reproduce defects and guide engineering.
• Coordinate overseas teams to unify test steps and resolve defects (Mandarin).
• Track results in Jira and prepare QA sign-off before production release.
