Job summary

Syntech is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to join a cross-functional product team and elevate feature quality before system testing. You will apply the full software testing lifecycle to translate requirements into focused test coverage and assess functional, integration, usability, and regression risks.

You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, product owners, UX designers, and hardware engineers to validate enterprise web applications, embedded software, firmware, and hardware

Qualifications

• Experience applying the software testing life cycle to feature development.
• Ability to analyze application behavior, logs, and configurations to reproduce defects.
• Strong communication and collaboration across product, development, UX, and testing teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply the software testing life cycle to feature development, including planning, design, execution, and closure.
• Develop and execute risk-based functional, integration, and regression tests across interfaces and data flows.
• Collaborate to clarify requirements, improve testability, and advocate for quality and user experience.
• Evaluate changes, maintain test data, and contribute to test automation and coverage.
• Ensure acceptance criteria are satisfied and communicate unresolved risks before system testing.
• Improve testing practices, documentation, tools, and team processes.
