Job summary

TÜV Rheinland North America is seeking a motivated professional for conformity assessments of product safety, quality, and performance across various categories. This 2nd shift role runs 4pm - 12:30am Pacific Time and requires a strong technical background in electrical engineering.

The candidate will act as a subject matter expert, define testing plans, conduct tests, analyze results, and prepare reports while coordinating with labs and supporting sales with technical input.

Qualifications

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in related area.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert for assigned projects.
  • Define testing requirements, methodologies, plans, and programs.
  • Conduct testing and analyze data to interpret results.
  • Ensure test results meet applicable standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and issue accurate, timely test reports.
  • Coordinate with internal and external laboratories to support testing activities as needed.
  • Support sales efforts by providing input on testing costs, capacities, and technical capabilities when required.
  • Represent the organization at internal meetings, customer engagements, and industry events by providing technical expertise.
  • Foster a strong customer experience through professional communication and service.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop technical expertise; candidates with limited experience but a strong aptitude and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Compensation Data

The salary range for this position is $64,000-$78,000 and reflects factors such as years of experience, relevant expertise, and overall qualifications.
