Job summary

Eaton Corporation's Electrical Critical Power Solutions division in Richmond, VA seeks a Test Engineer to develop, apply, and maintain test standards for customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. The role supports test data collection, failure analysis, and continuous improvement as part of a lean quality system.

The successful candidate will contribute to FMEA, root-cause analysis, and test process optimization, while coordinating with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering concentration or 4 years in testing/engineering/electronics experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in a manufacturing or engineering function or internship.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide input to, author, update, train, and ensure adherence to test and quality standards, product specifications, and procedures.
• Assist the test team in product troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Assist in preparation and execution of customer factory witness test events.
• Design, support, and troubleshoot test equipment and electrical systems; improve test process quality and throughput.
• Analyze, interpret and present test data; support QMS and ISO 9001 audits.
