Eaton’s Electrical division in Richmond, VA, is seeking a Test Engineering Manager to lead the test function and drive robust testing and assembly processes. The role oversees design, development, validation, installation, and support of production test equipment and programs.

You will mentor staff, align cross-functional resources, and focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while advancing lean practices. This is a full-time on-site role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical or controls engineering, design, troubleshooting, and/or testing.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a management position or leadership role.

Responsabilidades

• Develop test equipment specifications ensuring compliance with electrical safe work practices, hazard identification/remediation, and OSHA requirements.
• Provide guidelines for designing, supporting, servicing, and troubleshooting of test equipment and electrical systems, testing protocols, test data collection and best practices.
• Lead testing function and associated needs to support customer expectations, financial performance, and KPIs (safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory).
• Coach, mentor, and guide electrical test employees to achieve goals using Eaton Leadership Model.
• Utilize continuous improvement methods (CIF, kaizen, rapid improvement) to enhance performance and lean culture.
• Align cross-functional resources with plant needs to achieve unified goals across production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, engineering, EH&S.
