Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or minimum 5 years of practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of testing experience in industrial, automotive or related field is required.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
• Experience with diesel driven equipment is a plus.
• Willing to read blueprints and work instructions; hands-on mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage lab infrastructure for testing activities.
• Create and maintain test procedures and data-reporting templates.
• Specify required laboratory supplies and allocate test fixtures.
• Guide technicians and coordinate prototype builds and testing.
• Test prototype machines and components; improve quality, safety and reliability.
• Generate detailed test reports and write documentation.
• Develop and maintain SharePoint sites for test results.
• Analyze data and propose design improvements.
• Document new test setups for product validation and verification.
• Evaluate field returns when troubleshooting fails; perform benchmarking.
