Job summary

Power Technique North America LLC is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Rock Hill Product Company Engineering Department. You will prototype, test, and report on diesel-driven portable air compressors, generators, and pumps, ensuring excellence, accuracy, and customer-focused results.

This on-site role in Rock Hill, SC requires hands-on work with lab infrastructure, test fixtures, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 3-5+ years of testing experience in industrial, automotive or related field is required.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis is required.
• Experience with diesel driven equipment is a plus.
• Experience with Portable Energy equipment is a definite plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and plan lab infrastructure efficiently.
• Create and maintain test procedures and data-reporting templates.
• Specify required laboratory supplies and test fixtures.
• Provide guidance for technician activities and project engineers.
• Test prototype machines and components to improve quality, safety and reliability.
• Generate detailed test reports and document results.
