Job summary

Atlas Copco Group US - Rock Hill, SC is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Product Company Engineering Department with prototype assembly, testing, and reporting. You will manage lab infrastructure, develop test procedures, and provide accurate data to customers with end-to-end quality.

The role involves evaluating field returns, assisting with mechanical and electromechanical design reviews, and guiding technicians during prototype builds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5+ years of testing experience in industrial, automotive or related field is required.
• Experience with troubleshooting and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage lab infrastructure for tests.
• Create and maintain test procedures and data reporting templates.
• Test prototype machines and components to improve quality, safety and reliability.
• Generate detailed test reports and document results.
