Job summary

American Rheinmetall is seeking a Test Engineer to join the Product Integration & Test team. You will ensure that internal and U.S. Government testing of AR products is safe, on schedule, and exceeds quality expectations.

The role covers managing test equipment, developing instrumentation lists, data collection and analysis, and contributing to test procedures. Occasional travel to Europe may be required and up to 50% travel is possible in the US.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing and recording data from test instrumentation (data loggers, accelerometers, strain gauges, etc.).
• Experience operating a test lab and calibrating instrumentation.
• Experience with data acquisition software (DEWESoft, MATLAB, LabVIEW).

Responsibilities

• Manage specification, selection, procurement, calibration, maintenance and retirement of test equipment.
• Develop instrumentation lists to support data collection needs.
• Write and review test documents (plans, procedures, reports).
• Support test activities in the field including DAQ setup and data collection.
• Lead and mentor others in data acquisition and instrumentation.
