Job summary

American Rheinmetall Vehicles seeks a Test Engineer to join the Product Integration & Test team in Michigan. You will support internal and U.S. Government testing to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery and high quality.

The role covers instrumentation, data acquisition, analysis, and test documentation across system and subsystem levels. Travel up to 50% may be required; experience with DoD test procedures is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing and recording data from test instrumentation.
• Experience operating a test lab and ensuring instrumentation is calibrated.
• Experience diagnosing and fixing electrical components in instrumentation and vehicles.
• Experience with data acquisition software such as DEWESoft, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and CANalyzer/CANoe.

Responsibilities

• Manage specification, procurement, calibration and retirement of test equipment.
• Develop instrumentation lists to support data collection needs.
• Procure, check out and dry run instrumentation.
• Reduce and analyze test data and document results.
• Support test data acquisition and write test documentation.
• Lead and support system, subsystem and component level trials.
