Job summary
Accenture Federal Services seeks a Test Engineer to shape quality strategies for mission-focused federal software. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests, validate data, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure reliability across complex systems.
Responsibilities include building test scripts, performing database validation, and driving automation coverage using Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium within CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications
- Experience with modern automation frameworks and designing test strategies.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and related tooling.
- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality and reliability
- Perform manual testing to identify defects and validate new functionality
- Conduct database testing to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency
- Partner with development teams to troubleshoot issues and support timely resolution
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases and test plans
- Apply scripting skills to eliminate repetitive testing tasks through automation
- Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders
- Continuously improving testing processes, methodologies, and automation coverage
