Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in the Washington, DC area is seeking a Test Engineer for an onsite position in Lorton, VA. You will perform test events (SIDR, SIT, UAT, Site Validation, Mission Acceptance), conduct formal reviews, develop test cases, and track defects and metrics.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in tech, experience with Agile, SDLC, CI/CD, GitHub/AzureDevOps, Windows Server technologies including Active Directory and PowerShell, and an active TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

5+ years of related technical experience, with either Windows Server administration or test automation.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and software testing processes.
Understanding of SDLC and test lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Perform SIDR, SIT, UAT, Site Validation and Mission Acceptance tests.
Conduct formal test reviews such as Test Readiness Reviews and Post‑Test Reviews.
Execute test strategy activities including Requirements Verification & System Validation.
Compile or develop manual and/or automated test cases for the Test Plan.
Identify, document, and prioritize defects with guidance from the Test Lead.
Execute tests in accordance with the Test Plan.
Prepare and deliver regular test status updates to the Test Lead.
Input test results into test management tools and track execution progress.
Evaluate testing software/tools and recommend alternative solutions.
