Job summary

JGMS Government Services is seeking an experienced A4W propulsion plant operator to join our client’s team as a Test Engineer supporting A4W Fleet Interactive Training Equipment (FITE). FITEs are high-fidelity simulation platforms used to develop and maintain the operational readiness skills of the deployed fleet.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 6 years of relevant experience, and prior A4W EOOW/PPWO/EWS qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
• Previous A4W qualification as EOOW/PPWO/EWS.

Responsibilities

• Support the A4W FITE platform and cross-train to support the A1B FITE platform.
• Certify hardware and software based field changes prior to deployment to the FITE sites.
• Focus test programs on plant operations conforming to FITE operational values with expected plant response.
• Support other groups as they develop field changes using FITE preproduction units.
