Job summary

Spectra Tech, Inc. in West Mifflin, PA is seeking a Test Specialist to join our Naval Nuclear Lab project. The role supports A4W propulsion plant operations and the A4W FITE simulation platform, with cross-training to the A1B FITE platform.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree, 6+ years of relevant experience, and a qualification as EOOW/PPWO/EWS, with willingness to travel semiannually to NNPP sites and to learn the simulation software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Previous A4W qualification as EOOW, PPWO, or EWS.
• Semiannual travel to other NNPP sites.
• Ability to cross-train on the A1B platform.
• Ability to learn the simulation software platform.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team building skills.
• Ability to team and solve complex problems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate with management and interfacing organizations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
