Actalent is seeking a Test Engineer in Colorado Springs for a hybrid contract-to-hire role. You will develop, prepare, and execute comprehensive test plans for subsystem and enterprise-level systems, and support system integration testing.

You must have a bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, an active Secret clearance, and hands-on experience with Agile, Jira/Confluence, DOORS, CI/CD, Docker/Kubernetes, and scripting. Some on-site base work may be required.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment environments and tools such as Bamboo.
• Experience with version control tools such as Bitbucket.
• Experience with UNIX operating systems.
• Experience sustaining UEWR and/or PARCS ground-based radar systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Korn Shell, Bourne Shell, Python, Perl, bash, tcl, etc.

Work Environment

This position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring three days in the office each week and occasional presence at Peterson Space Force Base as needed. The program focuses on sustaining, protecting, and integrating mission systems related to ground-based radars, enhancing Space Domain Awareness through resilient radar capabilities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
