Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Test Engineer to bring rigor, curiosity, and practical engineering judgment to the product development process for vegetation management equipment. You will closely collaborate with Engineering, R&D, Product Management, Operations, Sales, and customers to translate performance expectations into clear validation plans and actionable results.

You will stay close to the equipment, pair data with field experience, and contribute to reliable performance and successful product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or related engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in product testing, validation, development, or a related engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail, project leadership, and cross-team communication.
• Ability to translate product requirements into practical test methods with disciplined documentation.

Responsibilities

• Define product performance expectations, project priorities, and validation requirements with cross‑functional teams and customer stakeholders.
• Develop and execute thorough test and validation plans for components and complete equipment systems.
• Coordinate product testing with Engineering and R&D, ensuring resources and timing are in place.
• Analyze test data, prepare reports for internal and external audiences, and suggest improvements.
• Build and maintain testing policies, procedures, and documentation for consistency and quality.
• Research and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment that support testing.
• Conduct site, customer, and field testing as needed, managing related costs and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze test data, prepare clear reports for internal and external audiences, and recommend product or process improvements.
• Build and maintain testing policies, procedures, work instructions, and documentation that strengthen consistency and quality.
• Research and evaluate materials, assemblies, processes, and equipment that support effective testing activities.
• Conduct site, customer, and field testing as needed, while managing project‑related testing costs and resources.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Agricultural, or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in product testing, validation, development, or a closely related engineering role.
• Strong attention to detail, project leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.
• The ability to translate product requirements into practical test methods, disciplined documentation, and meaningful conclusions.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems is preferred.
• Hands‑on experience operating forestry, construction, agricultural, or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
