X4 Engineering is collaborating with a leading testing, inspection, and certification service provider. They are currently seeking a Test Engineer of any seniority with a strong background in the Medical Device space to join an onsite team in the Bay Area. The role involves completing all aspects of regulatory compliance testing and reporting for medical device products.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Perform relevant tests, such as leakage current measurements and defibrillation-proof testing, in compliance with the 60601 series standards, including collateral and particular standards, to ensure regulatory compliance.
2. Apply the requirements of the medical product safety standard 60601, with a strong understanding of associated collateral and particular standards.
3. Serve as the lead engineer on complex projects, contributing to technical direction, scheduling, and coordination. Provide training to other test engineers and technicians.

Qualifications:

1. Effective team player capable of following directions.
2. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor to clearly communicate complex technical information, both verbally and in writing.
3. Deep engineering knowledge with a solid grasp of testing requirements, manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and standards.
