Job summary

Caterpillar Reman Manufacturing in Corinth, MS is hiring an Engineering Technician III for the Test Cell. The role supports engineering in project execution, standard work, and fixture/tooling design within a fast-paced remanufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot and run engine test cells, assist with new equipment installations, and participate in LEAN events while collaborating across engineering and operations. A relevant degree or 5+ years’ experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a diesel engine manufacturing or test facility.
• Experience reading wiring and mechanical schematics (prints).
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving problems; ability to form teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot engine test cells and support NPI.
• Develop print packages for RFQs, tooling and fixturing, CI cards, Standard Work and ETQ documentation.
• Create and update standard work, SOPs and PFMEA documentation.
• Interfacing with operations and cross functional teams.
• Assist with torque tooling implementation and MES work instructions.
