Job summary

Caterpillar is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician I to help improve quality, velocity, safety, and cost by supporting engineering during C13 diesel engine production. You will analyze data, investigate issues, and validate processes while collaborating with senior engineers in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years manufacturing experience, blueprints proficiency, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Experience reading blueprints and 3D models.
• Familiar with CPS/Lean manufacturing and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support through data analysis and problem solving.
• Assist process improvement teams and track key metrics.
• Support and feedback to team leaders, follow up on action plans.
